Entrance tests
Many year 12 will be thinking about applying to top universities or courses such as medicine which require you to sit additional tests. Details of the most common of these can be found on http://www.admissionstests.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/adt/

importance of work experience
A recent report ‘The Graduate Market in 2012 report’ shows that whilst over 1/3 of all graduate jobs go to people with work experience with that employer, if you have no experience you have "little of no chance" of being successful.
Cambridge Open Days
These are to be held in early July 2012. Registration opens in April, so be aware, in the meantime individual Colleges have open days. This link has the details http://www.cam.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/opendays/college.html
